Junior Section
A proper pathway into the game: junior rates from £85, coaching with the club professional, and competitions both among juniors and with the rest of the membership.
Coaching youth
Hanging Heaton wants the next group of golfers to grow up here, not somewhere else. Membership is structured so that age and family circumstances are taken into account, including an under-16 rate that requires one parent to be an existing or social member.
Rudy, our PGA Class A professional and Level 2 coach, works with juniors individually and in groups. They are encouraged into club competitions alongside members as well as events run just for junior players.
If you are looking for a first club for a young golfer, start with the rates on the membership page and a note to the secretary. The door is meant to be open.
The Junior Academy meets on Sundays from 10am to 11am, in a group with the club professional. Individual junior lessons are also available from the shop.
