Rudy joined us at Hanging Heaton in mid-November 2023. He is a PGA Class A Professional and a Level 2 Coach with 20 years of playing experience, which includes competing in the US alongside players like Simon Dyson and Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Playing Achievements:
2-time Junior Club Champion at Barnsley Golf Club
Winner of the “Your Golf Tour” Yorkshire Region Order of Merit, with 6 tour wins and 4 top-3 finishes
Completed 2 full seasons on the Yorkshire PGA circuit, achieving top-5 finishes in all Pro-Am events to date
Rudy manages a well-stocked shop and provides excellent customer service to both members and visitors. He also has access to the latest brands and can special order anything not available in-store.
Rudy works closely with major golfing brands, including Ping, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Wilson Staff, Nike, Stuburt, FootJoy, and Srixon.
He is a Certified Custom Fit Specialist for both Ping and Mizuno and a Titleist SureFit Specialist.
In addition, Rudy utilizes the GC Quad, part of the Yorkshire Golf Simulator located at Hanging Heaton Golf Club, to assist with custom fitting.
