I would firstly like to congratulate and thank Michael Gordon for a fantastic year as captain. From record breaking Heavy Woollen scores, to ‘Pinko for Winco,’ it truly has been a magnificent 12 months, topped off by over £8,000 raised for Breast Cancer Now.

When Michael asked me to be his Vice Captain, I accepted without hesitation, as I regard it as a tremendous honour to be captain of this fantastic golf club.
Everyone will have had a family member or close friend, whose lives have been devastated by the terrible disease of cancer in its many forms. To this end, my captain’s charity will be Kirkwood Hospice, who do such fantastic work in caring for victims, their families and friends.
As captain, I will try my utmost to be, committed, fair and approachable.
My aim for 2025 is to make both the golf and the social side of things as enjoyable as possible, for both visitors and
members alike
