On the plateau above Batley, Hanging Heaton is a compact, characterful 18-hole course. The Club has been in members’ hands since seven local golfers first fenced off greens at Commonside in 1922. Today the same spirit holds: a proper test of golf, a busy social diary, and a clubhouse that still feels like a club.
